The short-toed snake eagle is a raptor. The narrator discovers him hovering in the sky, while he is in Lorraine, at the beginning of the 1990s, called up among those called up for military service. Moment of poetry stolen from a unique year.

Manu Larcenet drew inspiration from his personal experience to turn it into a comic book, marking the start of a breathtaking and often rewarded graphic career (Blast, The Ordinary Combat, The Return to Earth, and so many others).

Based on comics, the show offers a dive into this institution that has now disappeared but is still in people's minds, in which the individual disappears for the benefit of the masses. It is a question of collective inertia, of resignation, but also of the family with an icy humor.

Combining theatre, live music, graphic arts and video, this rock creation takes us on a journey into the world where men are made who walk in step...or not.
