Emilienne Flagothier is 32 years old, but in her eighth earthly reincarnation. As a radical ecofeminist, she divides her life between militant anarchist collectives and institutional theatrical practice.
After a master's degree in directing at INSAS, she co-founded ASBL ASBL, a self-managed, horizontal theater collective.

In 2019, she directs WE SHOULD BE DANCING (a co-production of Théâtre de Liège and Mars - Mons arts de la scène), a dance show in which five adult actors painstakingly reproduce the movements of 3-year-olds.

In 2022, she created RAGE: a cathartic and bloody rewriting of the sexist micro-aggressions that pollute our daily lives.

Emilienne is currently rehearsing her next show, LET'S TALK ABOUT SEX, a solo performance based on interviews and personal accounts.

RAGE and LET'S TALK ABOUT SEX are two very different ways of participating in the ongoing feminist revolution, starting from the intimate and emotional: LET'S TALK ABOUT SEX chooses the angle of gentleness and benevolence. It takes the time to redo our missing sexual education, by valuing our fragility and our differences. RAGE, on the other hand, refuses to make the slightest pedagogical effort, and spits its anger in our faces.
