« Nothing around us lasted long enough to age, it was replaced,
rehabilitated in a hurry. »
Annie Ernaux - The Years (2008)
Claire, an equestrian acrobat, finds herself unemployed and is catapulted into a place that has literally fallen into oblivion: a lost and found office.
Outside, life goes on, indifferent to what happens in this place where nobody ever comes to look for anything.
Surrounded by all kinds of forgotten objects, and her two colleagues, Teresa and Christelle, the days pass and get organized, between tidying and sorting.
Little by little, under Claire's impulse, the objects will come back to life and, in this dull basement, these three women will make their own revolution.
A story with a whimsical look but anchored in a social reality that mixes puppets, objects, video and live actresses on stage.
