Belgian artist Loraine Dambermont is a dancer and choreographer. After training at Codarts and Teaterschool - the
Academies of Dance and the Arts in Rotterdam and Amsterdam - Loraine Dambermont has forged her own style. Through a blend of different techniques, from hip hop to contemporary dance, including popping and floor work, she creates an explosive energy.
In 2013, she won an award for Buy My City, a collaborative creation with Noora Hannula, a defining encounter in her
her career. As a performer, she has worked with The Nordic Beasts and Mute Comp. Physical theater (Dk), Michè le Anne De Mey (Be), Itamar Serussi (Il), Beppie Blankert (Nl), Etienne Rochefort (Fr), Zahrbat / Brahim Bouchelaghem (Fr) and recently Leslie Mannes (Be).
In parallel with the extensive tour of her first solo TOUJOURS DE 3/4 FACE! (Aerowaves Spring Forward 2023 selection), she is working on her new creation T'FAÇON ON EST EN 2012, which will premiere in October 2025 at the Théâtre de Liège during the Charleroi danse Biennale.
