Loraine Dambermont

Loraine Dambermont is a dancer and choreographer.

Belgian artist established in Brussels,Loraine Dambermont is a dancer and choreographer. After training at Codarts and the Teaterschool – Academies of Dance and Arts in Rotterdam and Amsterdam – Loraine forged her own style.

By a mixture of different techniques; from hip hop to contemporary dance, particularly popping and floor work, she works to create explosive energy.

In 2013, she won an award for Buy My City, a creation in collaboration with Noora Hannula; a decisive encounter in his journey. As a performer, she has worked with, among others, The Nordic Beasts and Mute Comp. Physical theater (Dk), Michèle Anne De Mey (Be), Itamar Serussi (Il), Beppie Blankert (Nl), Etienne Rochefort (Fr) and recently Leslie Mannes (Be).

In parallel with his solo TOUJOURS DE 3/4 FACE! (Aerowaves Spring Forward 2023 selection), she is working on her new creation, the 2nd part of her project “My fighting years” whose first residencies will begin in the fall of 2023.
