Loraine Dambermont

Loraine Dambermont is a dancer and choreographer. Through a blend of different techniques, from hip hop to contemporary dance, including popping and floor work, she creates an explosive energy.

Belgian artist Loraine Dambermont is a dancer and choreographer. After training at Codarts and Teaterschool - the 
Academies of Dance and the Arts in Rotterdam and Amsterdam - Loraine Dambermont has forged her own style. Through a blend of different techniques, from hip hop to contemporary dance, including popping and floor work, she creates an explosive energy.
In 2013, she won an award for Buy My City, a collaborative creation with Noora Hannula, a defining encounter in her 
her career. As a performer, she has worked with The Nordic  Beasts and Mute Comp. Physical theater (Dk), Michè le Anne De Mey (Be), Itamar Serussi (Il), Beppie Blankert (Nl), Etienne Rochefort (Fr) Zahrbat / Brahim Bouchelaghem (Fr) and recently Leslie Mannes (Be).
In parallel with her solo TOUJOURS DE 3/4 FACE! Spring Forward 2023), she is working on her new creation, part 2 of her "Mes années bagarre" project, whose first residencies begin in autumn 2023
