T'FAÇON ON EST EN 2012 unfolds a common narrative around the violence of intimidation and provocation mechanisms between rival clans. Using the contemporary phenomenon of video clashes as a backdrop, Loraine Dambermont develops , with a lot of self-mockery, an 'expeditive' choreography—similar to fast flow rap—embodying on stage figures that reflect and question masculinist stereotypes.
The movements precisely synchronized with the sound intensifies the impact of the performance; this singular musicality becomes a common theme, linking the powerfully expressive gestures with technical rigor. By bringing this behavior to the stage, T'FAÇON ON EST 2012 seeks to strike a balance between the paroxysm of self-mockery and the extreme sincerity that drives the call to brawl.
